Meagan is a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2017. Since then, she has been a valued member of the team at Beattie Pet Hospital in Stoney Creek, where she brings compassion, knowledge, and a calm presence to every patient interaction.

She has a special interest in helping overweight and obese pets achieve a healthier weight and lifestyle. Meagan offers personalized weight management consultations and is passionate about guiding both pets and their owners toward long-term wellness.

At home, Meagan lives with her husband Chris and their beloved pets: Bo, a playful one-year-old Siamese cat; Ginny, a sweet one-year-old Persian cat; Shayla, a gentle 13-year-old Bichon mix; and Lily, an energetic 8-year-old Bichon mix. Lily has a rare neurological disease called myasthenia gravis, she is lucky to have a vet tech as her mom! Her deep love for animals is reflected both at home and in her work at the clinic.

When she's not at work, Meagan enjoys relaxing at home, spending time with family, and spending her spare time playing video games with friends. She’s committed to providing exceptional care and making sure every furry patient feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home.
